? I need a mattress for my antique bed. Where do I start?
If you know the size you need, click on Mattresses/Prices. Then click on Ordering. If you have any questions, click on Contact/Question/Quote or give us a call. If you don’t know what size you need, click on Measuring a Wood Bed or Measuring an Iron Bed. Then, go to Mattresses/Prices. When you’re ready to order, click on Ordering. We will contact you with any questions before processing your order.
? Why is the Height of my mattress set important?
Different mattresses finish at different heights. Say your total height measures 11”, and you want to order the Sweet Dreams IV mattress, which finishes at 15”. It would be too high for your bed. When you click on Mattresses/Prices, it will show the finished height for each mattress.
? When I bought my antique bed, they told me it would take a standard full size?
All antique beds are odd sizes and need to be measureed individually.
? I'm not sure where to measure?
Click on Measuring a Wood Bed or Measuring an Iron Bed. Then click on Contact/Question/Quote. (It is always helpful to email us pictures of the inside corners and headboard.) We will contact you with any questions.
? I'm not sure what the height of my mattress should be?
Click on Height. If you’re still not sure, send us a picture of your headboard with a piece of masking tape marking where you think the mattress should come.
? How will I know when my order has been shipped?
We will email you when your order has been picked up, your PRO Number (Roadway’s tracking number), and the EDD (Estimated Date of Delivery), along with your service center’s toll-free number.
Yes, but a 3/4 bed is a general term for beds less than full. Beds were made individually before mass production, so the standardization was not set. Each 3/4 bed is unique; the size can vary a few inches. The general measurement for a 3/4 bed is 48 x 72. Most beds do not measure this 3/4 bed size; therefore, we recommend that you measure your bed individually.
? How much is my Freight Charge?
*SHIPPING TO THE EAST AND WEST COASTS IS A LIMITED SPECIAL RATE OF $165.
*SHIPPING TO ALL STATES IN BETWEEN IS A LIMITED SPECIAL RATE OF $145.
? How much is the delivery charge for the Houston Area?
Houston-area inside delivery is $75.

Turn-around time runs approximately 7-10 days for the Houston area and 2-3 weeks for out-of-state orders.

For off-size pricing, go to the standard size on the Mattresses/Prices page that includes the size that you need. Example: Your 3/4 bed measures 48 x 72. You would select Full Size (53 x 74), which includes your 3/4 bed size.
